Organ Donation Awareness Seminar
The Faculty of Nursing and Faculty of Paramedical & Allied health sciences have been organized seminar on Organ Donation Awareness . "Helps someone who needs a transplant". The nation is struggling with an acute shortage of organs for transplantation, more than one million people suffer with end stage organ failure but only a handful of (3500) transplants are performed annually. About 15 patients die everyday waiting for organs and every 10 minutes a new name is added to this waiting list, with these statistics and significance of organ donation donation an awareness seminar was organized, ending with pledge.
